Sirius English is the tutoring trading name of Hawkeye Lexicraft. These booking terms apply to tutoring purchased through this website. Policy version: booking-v3-2026-09-27. Effective for new purchases from September 27, 2026; previously accepted terms continue to apply to earlier purchases.

Lessons, prices and payment
Test Preparation & Academic Writing, English Conversation & Grammar, and English for Kids & Teens each cost USD $55 for 60 minutes or USD $35 for 30 minutes. Approved legacy students receive USD $38 or $27 respectively through private booking access. There is no 45-minute offering. The price shown before payment applies to your purchase.
Stripe handles card and supported wallet payments. A paid booking is confirmed after payment succeeds. Each selected lesson has its own date and time. A finite recurring series is a single purchase of scheduled lessons, with no automatic renewal. Times display in your selected timezone; check the dates and times before paying.
Lessons can run back to back. Please allow up to three minutes at the beginning for the teacher to finish the preceding lesson. Scheduled end times remain fixed. If teacher delay affects your instruction, contact support for an appropriate resolution.
Standard refunds
For a voluntary change-of-mind refund, your request must reach us within 72 hours after successful payment and at least three hours before the affected lesson starts. Both conditions must be met. A standard refund is not available once the lesson has started.
For multiple lessons, eligible unstarted lessons can be refunded individually at the actual price paid, including any legacy rate. Lessons already delivered are excluded. Rescheduling does not restart the purchase refund window or extend the original lesson’s three-hour refund cutoff; an earlier replacement lesson can bring that cutoff forward.
After the standard deadline, change-of-mind purchases are non-refundable, subject to instructor-approved exceptions and mandatory consumer rights. Use your management link or contact billing@siriusenglish.com. The original request receipt time determines timeliness, even if we review it later. A request does not itself remove a scheduled lesson.
Approved refunds go to the original payment method. We submit eligible standard refunds promptly, normally within seven business days. Your payment provider controls settlement time. Statutory refund deadlines take priority.
Rescheduling, late changes and missed lessons
You may reschedule without charge at least 12 hours before your current lesson, subject to availability. Use your booking management link.
Changes inside 12 hours need the instructor’s explicit approval. Contact support@siriusenglish.com or your established email, WhatsApp, Telegram or WeChat contact with the instructor. Sending a request is not approval; the original time stays booked until a change is confirmed.
A late cancellation or missed lesson normally counts as used unless you qualify for a refund under the separate standard refund window, the instructor approves an exception, or applicable law requires another outcome. Only the affected lesson is used; other purchased lessons stay booked.
Instructor cancellation and technical problems
If the instructor cancels or a problem on our side prevents delivery, you may choose a replacement lesson or a refund for the affected lesson. For technical problems on your side, contact the instructor promptly; an exception may be arranged. These provisions do not exclude remedies required by law.
EU/EEA consumer withdrawal
EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from the tutoring purchase after the contract is concluded, without giving a reason, subject to applicable law. The contract is concluded when successful payment confirms your purchase. Any legally required extension, including applicable weekend or public-holiday extensions, is preserved.
This right overrides the standard 72-hour and three-hour refund limits. It is separate from GDPR privacy rights. A declaration of residence helps us present the appropriate booking information; IP location and timezone do not conclusively determine your rights.
If you select lessons during the withdrawal period, checkout asks you separately to expressly request early performance and acknowledge that you must pay proportionately for services actually provided before withdrawal. You acknowledge that withdrawal ends once the entire contracted service has been fully performed with the required consent and acknowledgement. For a multi-lesson purchase, completion of one lesson does not end withdrawal rights for the whole purchase.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to billing@siriusenglish.com, write to our correspondence address above, or use the EU/EEA withdrawal option in your management link. Include enough information to identify the purchase. The optional form below may be used, but is not required. We acknowledge receipt and refund amounts due within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice, through the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Other mandatory cancellation, refund and consumer rights are also preserved wherever applicable. Contact billing if the website’s standard controls do not reflect a right you believe applies.
Students, parents and materials
Lessons are generally for ages 13 and above. A parent or guardian must book and authorise lessons for a minor using the adult’s own contact details. Under-13 lessons require prior arrangements, direct parental privacy notice and verified parental consent; they cannot be purchased through this public checkout. Do not submit a child’s personal information in an initial enquiry.
Come prepared with agreed materials and functioning audio/video. Respectful conduct is expected. Educational support does not guarantee test scores, admissions or other outcomes. Students keep ownership of their original work; provided teaching materials are for personal educational use. Recording requires prior written agreement from both parties and any necessary parental authorisation.
Privacy and changes
Read our Privacy Policy for how information is used, retained and protected. Policy changes are dated here and do not retroactively reduce rights attached to an earlier purchase. Confirmation emails include the accepted policy version and a copy of the accepted policies.
